Rhiannon Oliver plays Mrs Trelawn in Jamaica Inn on BBC One tonight at 9pm.

Based on the famed Daphne du Maurier novel, Irish orphan girl Mary is sent to stay with Aunt Patience and Uncle Joss in Cornwall. Joss is the landlord of Jamaica Inn and also the head of a gang of ship wreckers who lure ships to their doom on the rocky coast. Mary soon finds herself in trouble when she discovers the truth.

Rhiannon Oliver trained at RADA.

She is a regular performer at Shakespeare's Globe, the National Theatre and most recently at Theatre Royal Bath. TV credits include The Cafe for Sky/ JellyLegs, Torchwood for the BBC and most recently, Jamaica Inn also for the BBC.

Recent theatre credits include Avdotya in Children Of The Sun at the Lyttelton, National Theatre and Denise in the Globe Theatre tour of Eternal Love directed by John Dove.

She recently played the role of Catherine Hall in Doctor Scroggy's War at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, directed by John Dove.

She plays Sor Sebastian in The Heresy Of Love also for John Dove at Shakespeare's Globe.
