THE SAINOU TEAM

DAVID MARSDEN

PARTNER AND SENIOR TALENT AGENT
david@sainou.com

David trained and worked professionally as an actor for 18 years before becoming an agent in 2001 and creating a leading London agency. In 2010 he became co-chair of the Artists’ PMA. The PMA (Personal Managers’ Association) is the leading professional body for literary and theatrical agencies in the UK. Between them they manage the careers of almost all the UK’s dramatists and screenwriters, actors, directors and creatives both in the UK and abroad.

When not securing work for his clients, David can be found trekking through jungles, climbing mountains or exploring the world’s most exciting cities in search of a great photo opportunity.

PAUL MARTIN

PARTNER AND SENIOR TALENT AGENT
paul@sainou.com

Paul trained and worked professionally as an actor building a vast network of contacts and industry knowledge. He worked at two West End agencies, becoming a company director at the second and heading up their Film & TV department.

With more than 10 years agenting experience he then went into partnership with David to set up Sainou. He also works closely with Equity on developing UK New Media deals for actors across the industry.

HERMIONE HALPIN

JUNIOR AGENT
hermione@sainou.com

Hermione trained at the Arts University Bournemouth and worked professionally as an actor, actively creating and producing her own work as well as theatre reviewing. Several years of experience assisting for a leading casting office – and in a busy central London casting studio – spurred a passion for management, turning her focus and capabilities fully to this side and joining Sainou in 2017.

Hermione can often be found with a notepad of ideas, plugged into an iPod, waiting for delayed trains in London or throwing herself off them in India.

DOMINIQUE MUNDAY

Dominique trained as an actress but immediately decided it wasn’t for her and upon graduating went straight into producing for a number of London theatre companies. She also tried her hand at casting, and the short film she worked on “Under Duress” won 1st place at the 48 Hour London Sci-Fi Film Festival and That Film Life in Cannes. Dominique’s drive for helping people grow led her to Sainou where she’s developing her talent management skills as an Assistant.

Dominique spends most of her time either at the theatre or trying out new activities such as rock climbing or adventurous yoga classes.

KRISTIAN WALL

Kristian trained at ArtsEd as an actor. He worked for a short time acting, during which he co-founded and continues to work with theatre company ‘Just Add Milk’ which aims to make theatre and actor training accessible for everyone. His love for actors and thirst for television, film & stage led him to work in casting, then at another talent agency before joining Sainou in 2019.
