Bessie Cursons films for the BBC this week for new drama, By Any Means in the role of Natasha Cummings, the daughter of Anthony Cummings who is held hostage with her mother.

The series follows the story of Sally & Laurence Walker who raised two million pounds for a Syrian orphanage but the money has mysteriously disappeared. The team are out to prove the Walker’s stole the money for themselves… by any means.


Bessie Cursons gained huge public recognition in the original series of Britain's Got Talent where she made it to the final, coming second to Paul Potts

Since the competition, she has played leading roles in the feature film Nativity! and ITV's My Phone Genie. Other television credits include By Any Means and Doctors and Dr Foster, all for BBC TV.

Bessie was nominated in Screen Terrier's Top 25 IMDB Teen Actresses to watch 2013. She has recently filmed feature, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies alongside Douglas Booth.
