Amita Suman: Doctor Who (BBC)

Amita Suman has been revealed as a major guest star on the new season of Doctor Who.

At the end of the first episode, audiences were treated with a snippet of the upcoming guest stars on this season. Amongst them were; Chris Noth, Shaun Dooley, Susan Lynch, Lee Mack and Alan Cumming.

Amita will be playing the character Umbreen, who was mentioned by Doctor Who showrunner Chris Chibnall in an interview with the Radio Times as one of his most anticipated characters of the new series.

Overview

Amita is a 2018 graduate from ALRA.

Since graduating, screen roles include Nina in Casualty (BBC) and Sameera in series 2 of popular Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge.

She plays Umbreen in Doctor Who - and was mentioned by Doctor Who showrunner Chris Chibnall in an interview with the Radio Times as one of his most anticipated characters of the new series.
