Aaron Fontaine begins shooting the role of Jackson Reaney in Doctors for BBC One.

Set in the fictional midlands town of Letherbridge, the series has been sunning for 13 years, picking up a variety of different nominations and awards.

Doctors follows the lives of the staff and patients at the busy Mill Health Centre and Campus Surgery. The format of each episode typically sees the doctors and nurses of the practice meeting their patients, both at the surgeries and on house calls, dealing with their medical complaints alongside other continuing story lines.

The series is produced by BBC Birmingham, with the first episode broadcast on 27th March 2000. It was created by Chris Murray, developed by Mal Young and originally produced by Carson Black.

Overview

London based actor Aaron Fontaine is new lead regular Tobin in season two of The Outpost for The CW Network.

He is known for playing Sonny Valentine on popular Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and series regular Ricky in Venus Vs Mars for Sky.

His film credits include The Weekend written by Kojo; Coming Up; My Size and Friday UK.
