Tonight is Press Night for Helen Colby in the West End transfer of Sweeney Todd.

Starring alongside Olivier award-winner Michael Ball and Oscar nominee and BAFTA award-winner Imelda Staunton, this acclaimed production has transferred directly from a sell-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre to the Adelphi Theatre in the West End. The production will also see comedian Jason Manford join the cast for a limited run as Pirelli.

Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a musical thriller with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondhem and libretto by Hugh Wheeler. It is based on the Christopher Bond play of the same name and has seen huge success in London and on Broadway, as well as a film adaptation starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham-Carter and Alan Rickman.

Helen Colby trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Her theatre credits include the West End productions of Sweeney Todd at The Adelphi and Sister Act at The London Palladium, as well as the UK Tour of The Sound of Music.
