Tutankhamun is based on the compelling story of Howard Carter and his discovery of the tomb of one of Ancient Egypt’s forgotten pharaohs, the boy-king Tutankhamun. Lord Carnarvon is the dashing eccentric who keeps faith with Carter and continues to back his expeditions when no one else will.

Sudanese born actor Waleed Elgadi has worked extensively across Film, Television and Theatre both in the UK and internationally.
Recent television work includes Crossing Lines for NBC, Tyrant for Fox, the Ridley Scott produced Killing Jesus and popular political drama Borgen.
In film, he has recently shot A Hologram for the King for Tom Tykwer alongside Tom Hanks. He can also be seen in Film4 comedy Four Lions, Dirty War for BBC/HBO and Brothers.About Sainou
