It’s the premiere of A Hologram For The King tonight in New York City, and Sainou’s Waleed Elgadi, who plays Sayed in the film, will be in attendance alongside the film’s star Tom Hanks, and fellow Sainou client David Menkin (Brad).

This comedy drama is the story of a beautiful doctor (Sarita Choudhury) and a wise-cracking taxi driver (Alexander Black) who help an American businessman (Tom Hanks), who is trying to close the deal of a lifetime in Saudi Arabia.

Overview

Sudanese born actor Waleed Elgadi has worked extensively across Film, Television and Theatre both in the UK and internationally.

Recent television work includes Crossing Lines for NBC, Tyrant for Fox, the Ridley Scott produced Killing Jesus and popular political drama Borgen.

In film, he has recently shot A Hologram for the King for Tom Tykwer alongside Tom Hanks. He can also be seen in Film4 comedy Four Lions, Dirty War for BBC/HBO and Brothers.
