Waleed Elgadi: Crossing Jerusalem

Waleed plays Yusuf Khallil in the Park Theatre and Pascal Theatre Company production of Crossing Jerusalem.

Opening to the press this evening, the play is set in Jerusalem and describes twenty-four hours in the life of an Israeli family in March 2002, as they cross Jerusalem at the beginning of the latest intifada.

Overview

Sudanese born actor Waleed Elgadi has worked extensively across Film, Television and Theatre both in the UK and internationally.

Recent television work includes Crossing Lines for NBC, Tyrant for Fox, the Ridley Scott produced Killing Jesus and popular political drama Borgen.

In film, he has recently shot A Hologram for the King for Tom Tykwer alongside Tom Hanks. He can also be seen in Film4 comedy Four Lions, Dirty War for BBC/HBO and Brothers.
