Tonight marks the UK Premiere of An Autumn Without Berlin staring Tamar Novas.
The London Spanish Film Festival launches its 12th edition with an extraordinary line-up of recent Spanish films including An Autumn Without Berlin
Izagirre’s first feature film is, in a fresh and elegant way, a story about love and personal growth. Irene Escolar, sixth generation of one of the most established actor dynasties in Spain, the Gutiérrez Caba, received a special mention for her work at the San Sebastian Film Festival last year as well as the Best New Actress Goya Award. Tamar Novas, best known to British audiences for his work in The Sea Inside and Broken Embraces, delivers as well a strong and nuanced performance.Overview
Tamar Novas has worked prolifically across cinema, television and theatre throughout Spain. He is probably best known for his Goya award winning performance as Javi in The Sea Inside alongside Javier Bardem and Belén Rueda.
Other screen credits include Diego in Broken Embraces for Pedro Almodóvar and Un otoño sin Berlin opposite Irene Escolar which gained awards at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Tamar has recently played series regulars in Fariña and The Zone.About Sainou
