Susan opens at the Bolton Octagon Studio this evening in Blind Date with Biteback Theatre.

Blind Date was conceived originally by Dave Simpson as a 15-minute play for Manchester’s celebrated new writing initiative JB Shorts – a bi-annual festival of short plays written by established television writers and presented, in a pub basement, by a prolific range of North West based actors and directors.

Blind Date will preview at Bolton Octagon Studio on November 27th, 28th and 29th, followed by a week in London at the Jermyn Street Theatre on w/c January 25th 2015.

Northern based actress Susan McArdle boasts a impressive list of television credits including Shameless for Company Pictures and Channel 4, Trollied for Sky 1 and the second series of The Accused for BBC Television.

Other notable screen performances include the recurring role of Lynn in Coronation Street and Tanya Callard in Emmerdale both for ITV. She has also played regular role Nurse Macclesfield over four seasons of Hetty Feather for the BBC.

Susan plays the role of Bev in the multi-award winning feature film Sightseers for Studio Canal.
