Justin’s House starring Steven Kynman has picked up the award for Best Pre-School Children’s Programme at the Royal Television Society North West Awards. The prestigious awards ceremony, presented by Eamonn Holmes, took place on 17th November at The Hilton Hotel in Manchester. This year entries were received across 23 categories based on submissions from individuals, production companies and broadcasters. Several new awards were included in this year’s line-up to reflect the range and breadth of television production in the region, now that Greater Manchester’s Media City has established itself as the home of numerous creative companies, including the BBC.

Steven Kynman plays the lead regular character Robert the Robot the hit children’s show Justin’s House for CBeebies. The show is based in Justin’s fictional house and recorded live in front of a studio audience at The Studios, MediaCityUK. Justin’s House features Bafta-award winning CBeebies presenter Justin Fletcher (Something Special, Gigglebiz) and has swiftly become one of the most popular children’s show airing on British television.Overview

Theatre credits include Mr Perks in the Olivier Award winning production The Railway Children, Death of a Salesman at York Theatre Royal, Prince Herbert in Spamalot at The Palace Theatre, West End, Sunday In The Park With George and Forbidden Broadway both at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
Steven is also the voice of Fireman Sam and Mr Nosey in the Mr Men animation series.
