Siw Hughes rehearses for Symud Mlaen/Moving as part of Rhys Meirion’s “The Lap of Wales Challenge”.
Babs and Gruff are members of Rhys Meirion’s ‘Lap of Wales Challenge’ team. While the two aren’t related, they’re forever bound by a terrible incident. Last year, after a car accident a week before they were due to get married, Meg, Gruff’s fiancee and Babs’ only daughter, was killed. That tragic night changed the course of their lives forever, a decision was made by Babs, against Gruff’s wishes, to donate Meg’s organs. A powerful and emotional performance, we see the two trying to come to terms with each other and the legacy Meg has left behind.Overview
