Siw Hughes opens A Play, A Pie and A Pint: Leviathan this evening at the Òran Mór theatre in Glasgow.

As three generations of the same family soak up the last of the sun’s rays in their back garden, beers in hand, the underlying tensions between the three are brought to boiling point thanks to revelations long buried, whilst also trying to stop the cat from murdering more defenceless birds.

Overview

Cardiff based actress Siw Hughes is best known for playing Kath Jones in popular BBC Cymru soap Pobol Y Cwm for which she won a Best Actress BAFTA .

Other notable television credits include Gemma Haddon in five series of Gwaith Cartref for which she was again nominated for a Best Actress BAFTA and Deborah Harris in three series of Licyris Olsorts for Teledu Daffodil.

She also works extensively in Welsh theatre, performing with both Theatr na n'Og and Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru this year.
