We are pleased to announce that Sarah Annis is part of the company of Great Britain which begins performances at the National Theatre from Monday 30 June.
Great Britain is directed by National Theatre director Nicholas Hytner and features scenic design by Tim Hatley, lighting by Neil Austin, music by Grant Olding, sound design by Paul Arditti and video/projection by Leo Warner.
Richard Bean’s fast and furious new play is an anarchic satire about the press, the police and the political establishment. Billie Piper plays Paige Britain, ambitious young news editor of The Free Press, a tabloid newspaper locked in a never ending battle for more readers.Overview
Sarah Annis trained at Mountview Academy. Theatre credits include Collaborators, The Rose Tattoo, The Man of Mode, The Life of Galileo, The Alchemist, Once in a Lifetime, The Menu all for the National Theatre. Sarah has also appeared in the West End production of The Sea and Grand Hotel at the Donmar Warehouse.
Television credits include Ashes to Ashes, doctors, The Royal and Silent Witness.
Sarah played Tina in the new Richard Bean play Great Britain at the Lyttelton auditorium at the National Theatre and in the West End.About Sainou
