Sally Ann Matthews features in the closing episode of brand new comedy series, The Mimic. The final episode of the sitcom airs on 10th April on Channel 4 at 10:00pm and stars Terry Mynott in the role of ‘The Mimic’ with Sally Ann in the part of Clara.
The Mimic is a comedy written by Matt Morgan and directed by Kieron Hawkes. The story of Martin Hurdle (Terry Mynott), a seemingly unremarkable maintenance man who, in fact, conceals an exceptional talent. What makes Martin unique is his uncanny ability to mimic voices. Stumbling through life, as he has been until now, his mimicry of celebrities and colleagues alike has been a rather fruitless pursuit. However, in a huge revelation from a former lover, Martin is about to discover that he could in fact be the father of a 19-year-old son.
The series is produced by Jack Bayles, with John Noel and Phil Edgar Jones as Exec Producers, the programme is a Running Bare Pictures production.
Sally Ann Matthews is best known for her roles Jenny Bradley in Coronation Street and Sandra Briggs in Emmerdale.
