Phillipa Peak will play the title role of Lysistrata at The Kingston Rose Theatre


Phillipa Peak is an accomplished film, television and stage actress. Television credits include Doctors, series regular in My Summer in Transylvania, regular in Eastenders,Casualty, My Family and The Bill.

Phillipa was directed by Brian Blessed as Cordelia in the feature film adaptation of King Lear and appeared alongside Michael Sheen, Mark Addy and Ruth Jones in Heartlands.

Phillipa's prolific stage career has seen her perform in Private Lives at the Manchester Library Theatre, which she won Best Actress at The 2007 MEN Awards A Midsummer Night's Dream at Regent's Park, Comedy of Errors at the Bristol Old Vic and Julius Caesar at the Young Vic.
