Percelle Ascott: Doctors

Percelle Ascott plays Tommy Mbesi across all episodes this week of the BBC’s flagship daytime medical drama Doctors.

Today begins a special run of episodes that deal with Britain’s homelessness crisis, and Percelle plays a major character across the storyline.

Doctors is a British medical soap opera which first broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 26 March 2000. Set in the fictional Midlands town of Letherbridge, defined as being in the city of Birmingham, the soap follows the staff of a doctor’s surgery, and their families.

He trained at The Brit School. Screen credits include Tickle Monster for Film 4, co-lead in the BBC series Wizards Vs Aliens, and series regular for E4 series Youngers.
