Liz-Hume Dawson is Bethany in tonight’s episode of Hebburn at 10pm on BBC Two.

The series follows the Pearson family and their son Jack (Chris Ramsey), who has left Tyneside for Manchester. He has secretly married a middle-class Jewish girl, Sarah (Kimberley Nixon), in a drunken binge in Las Vegas, whom he introduces to his parents, Joe (Vic Reeves, credited under his real name, Jim Moir) and Pauline (Gina McKee).

The episode will be available on BBC iPlayer from tomorrow.


Manchester based actress Liz Hume-Dawson has become a household name over her extensive screen career with roles in productions such as Clink, The 4 O'Clock Club, Trollied, Monroe, Bodies, Red Riding Trilogy, The Street, Dinner Ladies, Shameless, Coronation Street,Fat Friends and Sunny D.

Her stage credits include: Everyone Loves A Winner At Manchester's Royal Exchange, as well as directing Macbeth and Up 'n' Under for the Palace Theatre.
