Leila Hoffman appears in the feature film Pusher, which is released in cinemas today.

British crime film Pusher is the English-language remake of Nicolas Winding Refn’s 1996 cult classic film of the same name, directed by Luis Prieto. Richard Coyle is cast as Frank, the lead in this version, alongside Bronson Webb as Tony, Agyness Deyn as Flo, and Zlatko Buric reprises his role as Milo, the crime boss that he also played in the original.

Pusher tells the story of a week in the life of Frank (Richard Coyle), a big time drug pusher in London. Frank’s life is a fun-filled rollercoaster of a ride that soon spins out of control. Friendships start to vanish, there is no longer room for love within his life, and violence takes over. Danger and chaos are all around and he becomes a man trapped in his own world. Eventually Frank is left with no one to turn to and nowhere to go, becoming a man paralysed with the fear of knowing there is no way of preventing his inevitable fate.

Leila Hoffman is one of the UK's leading comedy actresses and her role of Mrs Treacher in How Not To Live Your Life has a huge fan base.

Other screen credits include Walter, Drifters, Bad Education, Doctor Who, Skins, Not Going Out and on film Pusher for Vertigo Films, Magician's, Felicia's Journey, The Witches and Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone.
