Joan Blackham shoots the role of Mrs Fitzgerald in upcoming feature film Masaryk in Prague, Czech Republic.

It is 1939, and Jan Masaryk has fled to America to escape his recent past. He is trying to forget the betrayal perpetrated by the European powers on his Czechoslovakia and on himself. These events shadow his every step, as does the knowledge that he failed as Czechoslovak ambassador in London, where he tried to avert the ruination of his country. With the help of Stein, an emigré German doctor, and the beautiful writer Marcia Davenport, Masaryk tries to overcome his demons and his sense of futility. Meanwhile, the dramatic events leading to the outbreak of the Second World War are being played out.
