Haruka Abe Films Edge of Heaven

Haruka is currently filming for brand new comedy, The Edge of Heaven for ITV in the role of Tammy.

The family comedy series is set in the sunny seaside town of Margate following the story of childhood sweethearts Alfie and Carly, who are set to be married until an indiscretion breaks out on their Hen and Stag Do’s and there is uproar. Is their marriage over before it’s even begun? Will his eccentric family ever let him stand on his own two feet and sort their relationship out like grown ups?

Haruka will be seen in Snake Eyes the GI Joe spin-off series for Paramount Pictures.

Other notable screen credits include Miko in all 5 series of the hit comedy Ideal opposite Johnny Vegas and My Phone Genie for ITV1.

Most recently she has played series regular Tippi in Kiss me First for Netflix/Channel 4, Tomoko in Channel 4 comedy Stath Lets Flats, May-Ling in BAFTA Cymru nominated Late Shift and Suzume in Giri/Haju for the BBC/Netflix.

Her multi award winning short films Stanley Pickle and Yuki have won worldwide critical acclaim.
