This evening Eva Traynor plays Kate at the Press Night of The Sea Plays. Directed by American director Kenneth Hoyt and staged at The Old Vic Tunnels, The Sea Plays are a rarely performed collection of O’Neill’s early works.

Based On Eugene O’Neill’s own experiences at sea, these were the plays that first introduced his writing to the world. This production follows recent acclaimed O’Neill productions for the Old Vic including The Iceman Cometh, A Moon for the Misbegotten and Anna Christie.

Scottish born Eva Traynor graduated from RADA and quickly won her first film role working with Eileen Atkins and Charles Dance in This September. A role in the film Cheerful Weather For The Wedding swiftly followed along with radio work on Voices From The Old Bailey for BBC Radio 4.
