Eva Traynor plays Annie in Cheerful Weather for the Wedding which has its premiere tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Alongside Felicity Jones, Luke Treadaway, Mackenzie Crook and Elizabeth McGovern, Eva is directed by Donald Rice in a film listed in The Hollywood Reporter’s New York Issue as one of the 10 Tribeca films to watch.

The film examines pre wedding jitters, when on her wedding day with just hours to go until the ceremony, a young woman’s future is suddenly thrown into chaos by the appearance of a former lover.


Scottish born Eva Traynor graduated from RADA and quickly won her first film role working with Eileen Atkins and Charles Dance in This September. A role in the film Cheerful Weather For The Wedding swiftly followed along with radio work on Voices From The Old Bailey for BBC Radio 4.
