Davood Ghadami: Life’s Too Short Easter Special

Davood Ghadami features in the Easter special of popular sitcom Life’s Too Short, which airs tonight on BBC2 at 10pm.

This mockumentary series, created and written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant from an idea by Warwick Davies, is as described by Gervais, about “the life of a showbiz dwarf”. Davood plays a waiter in the comedy where Davis plays a fictionalised version of himself and both Gervais and Merchant appear in supporting roles as themselves too.

This one-off special features a special cameo from Val Kilmer.

Overview

Davood plays series regular 'Kush' Kazemi in BBC's EastEnders for which he won 'Best Newcomer' at the TV Choice Awards. He was also nominated for 'Best Newcomer' and 'Best Actor' at the British Soap Awards.

In 2017 he reached the quarter finals of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

Other television credits include series regular Duncan Clark in ITV's Taggart as well as roles in Law & Order (ITV), Top Boy (Channel 4), Spooks (Kudos), Skins Redux (Company Pictures), Life's Too Short, Silent Witness, Doctor Who and Criminal Justice all for the BBC.

Film credits include John Carter of Mars for Disney directed by Andrew Stanton and Survivor for Millennium Films directed by James McTeigue.

Theatre credits include Amir in 13 at the National Theatre directed by Thea Sharrock.
