Dan Cade: Carnival Row (Amazon Studios)

Dan Cade will play the recurring role of Sykes in upcoming mystical detective series Carnival Row for Amazon. He will be working along side a star studded cast including Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom.

The series has been created by Cuban producer René Echevarria and American screenwriter Travis Beacham and directed by Jon Amiel.

Carnival Row follows the stories of mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. At the centre of the drama is the investigation into a string of unsolved murders, which are eating away at whatever uneasy peace still exists…

The eight-episode fantasy is set to premiere later on this year.


Dan began his career playing Galeotto Schlafentus in the Canal Plus/Netflix TV series Borgia produced by Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson.

In film, he has played lead Kane in Apocolypse Pompeii , worked alongside Robert De Niro in The Family and presented characters in Intrigo: Samaria (20th Century Fox), August in Berlin (Warner Bros.) and the remake of Papillon .

On television, Dan has had regular roles in shows such as World Without End , Sinbad for the BBC/Sky, Legends for TNT and Fox 21 alongside Sean Bean and A.D. for NBC, as well as Emerald City .

Most recently Dan can be seen in season One of Carnival Row and Absentia both for Amazon Studios. He also played Hyot in Universal/Netflix’s film Extinction .

Dan is a highly skilled martial artist and gymnast.
