Brian Jackson : Casualty

Brian Jackson will be seen starring as guest lead in Casualty, which recently scooped the best drama at the National Television Awards. Jackson plays Professor Gabriel O’Shaughnessy in the episode set for drama that sees Connie’s crusade against Elle reach its pinnacle.

The episode was directed by Seán Gleeson and written by Dana Fainaru.


Brian Jackson has had a remarkable and varied career, from worldwide recognition as ‘The Man From Del Monte’ to appearing in the award winning Afore Night Come and The Wars of the Roses for the Royal Shakespeare Company, directed by Sir Peter Hall.

From appearing alongside Ginger Rogers in the musical Mame in the West End’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Brian has gone on to appear in well over 100 plays, including numerous productions for the RSC and The Old Vic. He most recently appeared in the No 1 UK Tour of Dad's Army.

Brian's feature film debut was in Carry On Sergeant with other notable screen appearances in Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda, Le Baiser/The Kiss, Sherlock Holmes, Ealing Comedy, Cash and Curry, Shadowchaser, Ivanhoe, The Long Goodbye and While She Slept.
