Bill Thomas plays Bisticci in Da Vinci’s Demons, a BBC Worldwide drama series about the early life of Leonardo Da Vinci.

Set during the Italian Renaissance in the 15th Century, it follows the untold story of the young Da Vinci as an artist, inventor and free thinker.

Bill shoots alongside English Actor Tom Riley (Monroe, Bouquet of Barbed Wire) and Laura Haddock (Upstairs Downstairs, How Not To Live Your Life).

Overview

Bill Thomas is one of the most prolific character actors of his generation with over 400 roles on stage, film and television. He is perhaps best known for playing Tom Hensall in all of the BBC Series Cutting It, Charles Vance in the BBC serial The House of Elliott and is affectionately remembered as Tory Boy’s Dad in the long running comedy series Harry Enfield and Chums.

Other notable television credits include The Great Train Robbery, Da Vinci’s Demons for Starz Network, Doc Martin, Outnumbered, New Tricks, Merlin, Midsomer Murders, Foyles War, Great Expectations, Moll Flanders and Trial & Retribution.

Feature film credits include Having You, Song For Marion, Pusher, Abraham's Point, The Calcium Kid and Loving Vincent. Bill also played the co-lead in the Oscar Nominated film Syrup.
