Ben Fox shoots Will

Date - 15 March, 2016, All News Comedy Television

Ben Fox shoots the role of John Shakespeare in the TNT pilot Will directed by Shekhar Kapur.

Will tells the wild story of young William Shakespeare’s arrival onto the punk rock theater scene that was 16th century London – the seductive, violent world where his raw talent faced rioting audiences, religious fanatics and raucous side-shows. It’s described as the hot, contemporary, dangerous version of Shakespeare’s life, played to a modern soundtrack, exposing all his recklessness, lustful temptations and brilliance.

Overview

Ben's notable screen credits include series regular Simon Merrifield in The Living & The Dead, Will Shakespeare in Will for TNT, Neath in Summer of Rockets , Vanity Fair for ITV and Amazon, Les Miserables for BBC, The Crown for Netflix and Game of Thrones for HBO.

Ben originated the role of Joey 'The Lips' Fagan in the world premiere of The Commitments directed by Jamie Lloyd at the Palace Theatre, West End. He also played the role of Andre opposite Robert Lindsay in The West End's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
