Ben Fox – The Crown (Netflix)

Ben Fox joins the cast of epic new series The Crown for Netflix.

The first season of the biographical story produced by Left Bank Pictures for Netflix will launch on November 4 with 10 one-hour-long episodes focusing on the first decade of Elizabeth’s epic reign, starting as a 25-year-old newlywed who ascends to the throne following the unexpected death of her father, George II.

The Crown, the most expensive drama ever made by the US streaming company and its first to be made in the UK, will trace the life of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom from her wedding in 1947 to the present day. It is expected to span 60 episodes over six seasons.

The Crown is penned by Peter Morgan with direction from Stephen Daldry and Benjamin Caron.


Ben's notable screen credits include series regular Simon Merrifield in The Living & The Dead, Will Shakespeare in Will for TNT, Neath in Summer of Rockets , Vanity Fair for ITV and Amazon, Les Miserables for BBC, The Crown for Netflix and Game of Thrones for HBO.

Ben originated the role of Joey 'The Lips' Fagan in the world premiere of The Commitments directed by Jamie Lloyd at the Palace Theatre, West End. He also played the role of Andre opposite Robert Lindsay in The West End's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
