Ali Bastian plays major guest lead Juliana Isaac in today’s episode of Doctors at 1.45pm on BBC One.

In today’s episode, Mrs Tembe introduces her plan for reception. Heston deals with the arrival of his new family, and Jimmi gets caught up in a friend’s love life.

Doctors is a British medical soap opera which first broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 26 March 2000. Set in the fictional Midlands town of Letherbridge, defined as being in the city of Birmingham, the soap follows the staff of a doctor’s surgery, and their families.

Overview

Ali Bastian is probably best known for playing the role of Becca in the popular Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks for 6 years. She then joined the regular cast of The Bill for ITV1 playing PC Sally Armstrong.

She reached the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2009 and to this day remains the only celebrity to have received a perfect score in both the American Smooth and the Viennese Waltz. She later danced her way into the West End leading the company of Burn The Floor at the Shaftesbury Theatre and the role of Roxy Hart in the UK Tour of Chicago. Other theatre credits include Odourless at the Soho Theatre and Verdict for Bill Kenwright Ltd.

Recent work includes Death in Paradise and Jonathan Creek both for BBC One.
