Co-created by Paul Marquess (The Bill, creator, Footballer’s Wives) Steve Hughes (writer, The Bill, Hollyoaks) and Darren Fairhurst (writer, Shameless), Crime Stories is a Newman Street commission for ITV1. Executive Producer is Paul Marquess.

Zoe Lister stars alongside Ben Hull (Hollyoaks, The Royal Today, Family Affairs) as Detective Sergeant Ben Shaw, and Jane Antrobus (a recently retired Detective Chief Superintendent in the Greater Manchester Police) as Detective Inspector Jane Preston, all twenty episodes of the 60-minute drama series are stand-alone stories and take place within the fictional setting of East Central Police Station.

From thefts and robberies, to criminal damage and fraud – all stories are inspired by real police procedure and the series aims to be as authentic as possible in providing a unique insight into the working methods of experienced detectives as they investigate a case and uncover the truth.
