Tara Hodge plays Emily Cole on Jonathan Sothcott’s newest feature film Once Upon a Time in Essex for CHATA Pictures.  Tara’s role of Emily is based on a fictionalised version of Leah Betts.

Jonathan Sothcott is already well known for his Producing credits on over twenty feature films, most recently Hooligan Wars with Nick Nevern and Glen Murphy, Airborne with Star Wars’ Mark Hamill and Elfie Hopkins starring Jaime and Ray Winstone.

Overview

Tara Hodge has been performing from the age of twelve and has worked extensively in TV, Film and Theatre.

Tara has been seen in the Royal Exchange/Lyric Hammersmith production and subsequent UK Tour of Mogadishu. She returned to the Royal Exchange to join the cast of Beautiful Thing. Tara soon starts rehearsals for Wildefire, a new play by Roy Williams showing at the Hampstead Theatre directed by Maria Aberg.

Television credits include Casualty, Eastenders E20, The Bill and Midsomer Murders. Tara also played the lead role alongside Ashley Walters in Cubs, the BAFTA nominated short film.
