Scott Cripps performs at Club 606 in Michele Drees’s Rhythm Tap & Jazz Quartet.

The band, also featuring the pianist John Crawford, plays Jazz and Latin tunes with an original twist – the addition of award-winning tap dancer Scott Cripps as percussion. This unique ensemble is led by drummer Michele Drees, who has worked with such iconic musicians as Kirsty MacColl, Marc Almond, Seal, KD Land, Susanne Vega and Mica Paris.

Overview

Scott Cripps is one the UK's foremost tappers and can be seen regularly jamming at Ronnie Scott's and 606 Club. He was the tap coach on Katie Mitchell's Waves for The National Theatre, and was the guest Tap Soloist at the legendary Will Gaines 80th Birthday Celebrations.

His stage credits include Jesus Christ Superstar arena tour in Australia and the UK, Will Parker in Oklahoma at Kilworth House, No 1 UK Tour's of High Society, Footloose, Whistle Down The Wind and in The West End Peter Pan, Pirates of Penzance and Doctor Doolittle.
