Sandra Duncan plays HHJ Vermont in the BBC drama series Silk.

Silk is a British television drama series produced by the BBC and first shown in 2011. Written by Peter Moffatt, the series follows a set of barristers and what they do to attain the rank of Queen’s Counsel, known as ‘taking silk’.

Sandra Duncan is a multi-award winning actress. Notable theatre credits include Richard III and King John (RSC), Mrs Birling in An Inspector Calls, directed by Stephen Daldry, Bernarda in The House of Bernarda Alba for Shared Experience and West End productions of Abelard and Eloise and The Secretary Bird.

Television credits include Midsomer Murders, Silk and series regular in Westgate for SABC.
