Rick Bacon films The Silent and The Damned for Sky Atlantic.

Based on the second book in Robert Wilson’s Javier Falcon series, the novel won the Gumshoe award for Best European Crime Novel. The series features Javier Falcón, Chief Inspector in the Seville police and a brilliant detective whose personal and professional life is compromised by dark secrets from the past.

Set and shot on location in Spain, The Silent and the Damned is directed by Gabriel Range (I Am Slave, Death of a President) and produced by Julia Stannard (Public Enemies, The Awakening).
