Mandem on the Wall is an original idea charting the everyday lives of three youths and their wall. Since its inception in August 2011, the comedy sketch series has exploded online, making Mandem on the Wall a positive YouTube sensation. They have been listed in the 2013 Red Pages Hot 100.

Mandem on the Wall feature as themselves in both series of the popular E4 drama Youngers. The eight-part drama written by Levi David Addai (My Murder, Micah – part of C4′s Coming Up new talent season), Georgia Lester (Skins) and Mark Catley (Eggbox, Casualty) is set in South-East London and follows a group of friends trying to negotiate their way through teenage life and launch a music career.

The Mandem on the Wall boys were also invited to present at the the 18th annual MOBO awards 2013.

Joivan Wade, Percelle Ascott and Dee Kartier collectively write and star in each and every episode of Mandem. Joivan and Percelle are accomplished young actors who trained at the Brit School and have joined forces with young stand-up comic Dee and work under the direction of Freddie Osbourne.

Joivan Wade was a member of the National Youth Theatre and following his training at the Brit School went on to film Casualty around his Mandem On The Wall commitments. His recent TV credits include Big School and Doctor Who both for the BBC. He also recently starred alongside Lenny Henry in the stage adaptation of Rudy’s Rare Records co-produced by Birmingham Rep and Hackney Empire.

Percelle Ascott can currently be seen starring in the third series of the Russell T Davies series Wizards Vs Aliens as co-lead Benny. Other notable screen credits include guest leads on Silent Witness and Excluded for BBC TV.  Percelle was nominated as one the UK’s rising teenage stars 2012 by Screen Terrier/IMDB. He also features as Ben in new feature X+Y which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.

Dee Kartier first hit the comedy circuit at the age of 16, performing at comedy clubs all over the UK, most notably The Hideaway and Choice Comedy alongside British comics such as Eddie KadiPaul Chowdhry andRudi Lickwood.  By the time he was 19 he had developed his own unique style and brand of comedy. His humour stems from his experiences as a young Ugandan boy growing up in south London.
