It’s Press Night of The RSC’s production of The Rover tonight at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon, with Lena Kaur as Adriana.

Amid the fast and furious world of the South American carnival, three wandering cavaliers roam in exile whilst three women looking for love and fighting for a little freedom explore this vibrant, frenzied, dizzying world.

Aphra Behn was England’s first female professional playwright and a strong voice in early feminism. Loveday Ingram (The Merchant of Venice, 2001) returns to direct this masterpiece of Restoration comedy – a fusion of sights and sounds, whirling music, cultural tension, dubious romance and dilapidated beauty – joining forces with Olivier and Tony Award-winning designer Lez Brotherston.

Treasure Island National Theatre,Thursday by Bryony Lavery for ETT, title role of Rubina for Birmingham Rep, The Skys the Limit at The Old Vic and most recently The last testament of Lillian Bilocca written by Maxine Peak for Hull Truck/ City Of Culture.

Lena’s writing credits include, Come To Where I’m From, Paines Plough and 'Are You That Girl off the Telly?’, Leicester Square and St James Theatre. She also contributed sketches for Scallywagga , BBC.
