Lena Kaur is best known for her role as Leila Roy in Hollyoaks and was part of the original cast of the BBC3 comedy Scallywagga which she also co wrote. Other notable screen credits include Justin's House for BBC TV, Dr Alicia Patel in the fourth series of Torchwood and Maya in Tiger Aspect's Prisoners' Wives, Dani's Castle for CBBC, and Happy Valley for BBC One.
Lena's theatre credits include Earthworks and Myth for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Treasure Island for National Theatre, the 'Curtain Call Award' winning Thursday for ETT, Sisters at Sheffield Theatres, the title role in Rubina for the Birmingham Rep and The Sky's The Limit at The Old Vic.
She will play the role of Mary in Maxine Peake's new play The Last Ballad of Lillian Bilocca produced by Hull Truck.About Sainou
