Directed by Coky Giedroyc and filming on location in Warsaw, the series is adapted by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais from Alan Furst’s historical spy novel. Spanning the decade between 1933 and 1943, the two ninety minute film adaptations will air on BBC4 and follow Europe’s descent into World War Two.Overview
