Julian Harries plays Duff Cooper in The Spies of Warsaw.

Directed by Coky Giedroyc and filming on location in Warsaw, the series is adapted by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais from Alan Furst’s historical spy novel. Spanning the decade between 1933 and 1943, the two ninety minute film adaptations will air on BBC4 and follow Europe’s descent into World War Two.

Julian Harries has worked prolifically in theatre, with his most recent notable credits including The Marriage of Figaro at The Watermill Theatre, King Lear for Sir Trevor Nunn at The RSC, Jane Eyre for Shared Experience, Pericles for The National Theatre and A Chorus of Disapproval for Watford Palace Theatre.

His most recent screen works includes Spies of Warsaw, Broadside, Jean Charles and The Kid
