Janine Harouni: The Iliad

Janine Harouni joins an all star cast for a reading of The Iliad, which takes place as part of the Almeida Theatre’s Greek season.

The event, which is expected to last more than 12 hours, culminates on stage at the north London theatre.

Directed by Almeida artistic director Rupert Goold alongside associate director Robert Icke, the reading also features performers such as Simon Callow, Mark Gatiss, Janet Suzman, Sinead Cusack and Brian Cox.

Overview

Janine is originally from New York but holds full British working permissions and has Lebanese parentage. She graduated from LAMDA and played Julia in the Headlong Theatre production of 1984 which toured the UK in 2014 and returns to the West End this year.
