Jack Whitam plays Edmund in King Lear for Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory which has its Press Night this evening.

Directed by Andrew Hilton, Artistic Director and Founder of SATTF this production marks the twelfth year of productions for the company.

Overview

Trained at Bristol Old Vic, Jack Whitam joined the RSC shortly after graduating where he appeared in Macbeth and King Lear. Other Theatre credits include Caliban in Sprite Productions The Tempest, Anthony and Cleopatra, King Lear and The Light Princess and Emperor & Galilean both at the National Theatre.

In addition, television credits include The I.T. Crowd, Doctors, and The Demon Headmaster.

Jack has also been seen as a lead in the feature film Powder.
