Overview

Grant graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland having studied lighting design and left receiving the Dean of Drama Award for best individual work. Grant went on to work as season lighting designer for Paines Plough, lighting consultant to Professor Pamela Howard OBE and has associated with both Chris Davey and Mark Doubleday.

Grant has designed extensively for the Scottish Events Industry, including Botanic Lights 2015 Seasons In Colour, RoyalBotanic Garden Edinburgh; Torchlight Procession, Edinburgh and Hogmanay Street Party, Ceilidh Arena. As well as designingin the UK Grant’s work has transferred internationally to New York, Beijing, Madrid, Valencia and Rio.

Drama credits include: To Begin (National Theatre of Scotland Learn); Love Song, In My Father’s Words, Hecuba, Promises Promises, Baby Baby (Dundee Repertory Theatre); The Polar Bears Go Wild (Macrobert, Stirling); News Just In (Random Accomplice); And The Beat Goes On (Perth Theatre & Random Accomplice); Wendy Hoose (Birds of Paradise & Random Accomplice); Summer on Stage 2012 - 2016 (Lyceum Theatre); Panic Patterns (Citizens Theatre); Maw Broon Monologues (Tron Theatre).
