Following her acclaimed performance as Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, Daisy Maywood returns to the Curve Theatre Leicester as Dainty June in Gypsy. Alongside fellow leading West End performers, Caroline O’Connor and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Daisy stars in this iconic American musical inspired by the memoirs of the famous burlesque dancer Gypsy Rose Lee.
This much anticipated revival is directed by Curve Artistic Director Paul Kerryson (previous Sondheim credits include Follies, Pacific Overtures and Into the Woods, and other musical credits include The King and I, 42nd Street, Chicago, Mack and Mabel and Rent).
