Christian Edwards: Radio Times

Christian Edwards plays Jeeps in Radio Times which opens this evening at the Malvern Theatre prior to a UK tour.

Caroline Leslie directs this revival following the critically acclaimed run at the Watermill Theatre in 2011. Christian reprises his role alongside Gary Wilmot, Sarah Crowe and fellow Sainou actor Ben Fox.

This heart-warming and fast-moving piece with book by Abi Grant and music by Noel Gay features many well-known songs including Run Rabbit Run, Hey Little Hen and There’s Something About a Soldier.

Overview

Having worked extensively in theatre at The Kingston Rose Theatre, Regents Park Open Air Theatre, The Watermill, Pilot Theatre and ATG, his most notable roles include Noah Claypole for Rupert Goold in Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and Flute for Christopher Luscombe in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and Jeeps in the Watermill Theatre tour of Radio Times which he reprised recently.

Christian was the winner of the Leon Sinden Award for his role as Tony Lumpkin in She Stoops To Conquer at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

He recently played the role of Grantaire in Les Misérables at the Queen's Theatre, West End.
