Bill Thomas will feature in film Song for Marion, Original title Unfinished Song in the role of Bill. The film has now been released in UK Cinemas. Gemma Arterton, Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave star in this heart warming British film.

Grumpy pensioner Arthur (Terence Stamp) honours his recently deceased wife’s passion for performing by joining the unconventional local choir to which she used to belong, a process that helps him build bridges with his estranged son, James.

Bill Thomas is one of the most prolific character actors of his generation with over 400 roles on stage, film and television. He is perhaps best known for playing Tom Hensall in all of the BBC Series Cutting It, Charles Vance in the BBC serial The House of Elliott and is affectionately remembered as Tory Boy’s Dad in the long running comedy series Harry Enfield and Chums.

Other notable television credits include The Great Train Robbery, Da Vinci’s Demons for Starz Network, Doc Martin, Outnumbered, New Tricks, Merlin, Midsomer Murders, Foyles War, Great Expectations, Moll Flanders and Trial & Retribution.

Feature film credits include Having You, Song For Marion, Pusher, Abraham's Point, The Calcium Kid and Loving Vincent. Bill also played the co-lead in the Oscar Nominated film Syrup.
